MEET US IN HANNOVER MESSE 2009

One of the most significant international engineering exhibitions, Hannover Messe 2009, will take place in Germany this April. At this event the Lithuanian engineering industry will be presented in 2 different themes: Subcontracting Profile and Global Forum. Although the Subcontracting theme always features participants from Lithuania, this year’s exhibition will present some novelties: the technological potential in modern coating technologies will be demonstrated by UAB “Elameta”  , which launched electro dip coating EDC (KTL) line, the first one in the Baltic States, with the capacity of  300 m2/h and coating thickness of 15-45 microns, UAB “In Re” dealer and developer of SolidWorks IT tools, will present their new products – BuiltWorks which expands functional possibilities of the SolidWorks IT tools in designing metal structure products. UAB “Arginta” and UAB “Stevila”, young and modern metal manufacturing companies will also introduce their potential in metal processing. With ones of the best machinery fleets in Lithuania, the companies supply mechanical components and units of high complexity.

In the meantime, casting products and technological services will be introduced by old-timers in the metal processing market UAB “Kauno Ketaus Liejykla” – Kaunas cast iron foundry. At the exhibition, UAB “Baltec CNC Technologies”, which cooperates with sports medicine specialists on a regular basis, will present a range of “intelligent” devices and exercise equipment that improve the effectiveness of the practice and rehabilitation processes of athletes in different sports.

An exceptional participant in this year’s exhibition is the Mechatronics Cluster, which unites 36 companies of mechatronics area as well as related scientific institutions. It will demonstrate its commercial products as well as applied research and solutions in the area of mechatronics. The establishment of the cluster was initiated by Association Linpra, while its activities are coordinated by a technology centre – the public institution “InTechCentras”.

This year, the Lithuanian national stands are organized by LINPRA, whose efforts last year’s received positive evaluations from the stand’s participants as well as visitors, in cooperation with the Lithuanian Development Agency.
